Biri Biri, represented the very fabric and values of our society. He took enormous pride in representing every square foot of our Country; every Gambian and every part of our glorious history and rich human talent. Indeed, our brother, Biri Biri brought unity and cohesion within our country, both in life and now in death. He stood for opportunity, sincerity, patriotism and dignity.
He left a rich legacy for which we owe an enormous debt of gratitude towards. He demonstrated the value of unified Gambia - and how small we are, as a country, should not function on the basis of tribal, political and resource-based divisions.
We appeal to all Gambian citizens, to Honor the legacy of Biri Biri -to remain united in the same way he did for our country and to move forward together in building a more prosperous, caring and resilient Gambia.
